Day 215: A world of science

We didn't go hiking today despite the fine weather - we needed a rest :-) Instead we met with friends for brunch, and then walked down to the athletes' village area on False Creek. It was very relaxing strolling along the water's edge on such a sunny day, with views across False Creek to downtown Vancouver dominated by the new roof on the BC Place stadium. I've heard people complain that it's unsightly but I quite like it. I'll save that picture for another day, though. Today I rather liked the view of Science World with a pair of docked dragon boats in the foreground.
